Lulu

See this SoundCloud audio in the original post

A searing portrait of a woman’s struggle to survive in a ruthless world, Lulu is seductive, naive, wild, and submissive. The tale of Lulu was received in anger and confusion. Some perceived the story as misogynistic, while others consider Frank Wedekind a harbinger of women’s liberation in early 20th Century Europe.
