Sex with Ted Cruz

2015/16 In the Republican primaries, Ted Cruz stands at a gas station, a crossroads of conservative values. An unsympathetic figure, he finds himself in the middle of the swan song of the conservative American man that Ronald Reagan once gave birth to. The farewell is loud, sad, angry, a lashing out, a warning of things to come.

Cruz holds right-wing conservative positions, strongly influenced by his religious beliefs: he denies climate change, advocates for strict immigration policies, supports tax cuts for the wealthy, and aligns himself with the "Pro-Life" movement.

The new play by Lukas Bärfus is showcasing the American politics, culture and values. A painful portray of our modern day tragedy.
