The Last Conference

‘Theater des Wissens’ (en. Theater of Knowledge) stages a climate conference held in Berlin 2050.
The audience is invited to step into the shoes of international politicians—while outside, „climate terrorists“ apply pressure, people from around the world share their stories of displacement, scientists report on how dire the situation has become, and new organizations are founded that offer hope.

The play is an artistic-political response to the global human failure to save the planet from the consequences of climate change, and it dares to look into possible futures. What new narratives can emerge in the context of climate change and ecological crisis—and what new protagonists might speak from that future.
